How
to arrive
|
The
bed and breakfast "Il Poggetto"
can be found 2 km from Dozza, about 25 km east of Bologna and 10 km
west of Imola. In a tranquil and scenic location, it's easily reachable
from Via Emilia, the ancient Roman road that crosses completely through
Emilia-Romagna. A perfect point of departure for excursions in Romagna
and to the sea.

By
car:
Take
Highway A14 (Bologna-Ancona) towards Ancona, exiting at Castel San
Pietro Terme, about 20 km east of Bologna. At the exit toll, turn
left towards Castel San Pietro and follow it for about 4 km until
you reach the town. At
the intersection of SS9 (Via Emilia), turn left towards Ravenna and
follow it for about 7 km.

You
will arrive at a junction with a large yellow sign for the Regional
Enoteca of Emilia Romagna ("Enoteca regionale dell'Emilia Romagna").
Continue straight on Via Emilia and turn right at the following junction,
taking Via Valsellustra. Follow it for 7 km, passing the "Amarcord"
Restaurant, until you arrive at N.6 (main door on your right- ring
the bell).
By
train:
From
the Bologna Train Station, you can reach the Castel San Pietro or
Imola train Station with any regional train to Rimini or Ravenna.
(ATTENTION: not all trains stop at Castel San Pietro or Imola. For
detailed information, you can consult the Internet site www.fs-online.it
). From there, you can take a taxi ("Il Poggetto" is the
same distance from both Castel San Pietro and Imola- about 15 km)
or, upon request, we can come and pick you up.
By
plane:
The
Bologna Airport is well-connected to diverse international destinations.
From the airport, you can rent a car (see above for described route)
or travel to the Bologna Train Station (Bologna Centrale) with a special
direct bus (BLQ) and from there take the regional train to Ravenna/Rimini
(see above for described route).
